FloodReady Florida
Before you fill anything in

What actually happens next

  1. You submit the form. Nothing is sent anywhere until you check the consent box and press the button. An unchecked box means the request is not transmitted, full stop.
  2. We match your ZIP code to one partner. Emergency water damage goes to a licensed Florida restoration contractor. Insurance questions go to a licensed Florida insurance agency. If nobody appropriate covers your area, we tell you — we do not send your details somewhere unsuitable to make the referral count.
  3. They contact you directly. Usually by phone, at the number you gave us. For emergencies, quickly. For insurance, normally within a business day.
  4. We step out of it. Whatever you agree with that professional is between you and them. We are not a party to it, we do not take a cut of it, and we are not paid more if you buy something.
If this is a genuine emergency, do this first

If water is near electrical outlets or the breaker panel, if you can smell gas, or if the structure looks unsound — leave the building and call 911. No form is faster than that. Once everyone is safe, come back.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell insurance, quote premiums, or price a policy.
  • We do not compare insurers or policies against each other, or recommend one.
  • We do not tell you what coverage to buy. That requires a Florida insurance licence, and we do not hold one.
  • We do not sell your information to a list of buyers, and we do not resell it afterwards.
  • We do not perform restoration work, adjust claims, or act as a public adjuster.

How we are paid, in one sentence

The licensed professional pays us a flat fee for each qualifying referral — the same amount whether you hire them, buy a policy, or hang up after thirty seconds. Here is the full explanation, and who the partners are.

Straight answers

Questions people ask before they submit

Does it cost me anything to be connected?

No. There is no charge to you at any point. We are paid a flat referral fee by the licensed professional we connect you with. That fee is fixed and is not dependent on whether you buy anything, and it does not change what you are charged.

How many companies will call me?

One. We pass your details to a single independent licensed professional serving your ZIP code. We do not sell your information to a list of bidders, and we do not resell it afterwards. If nobody appropriate serves your area, we tell you rather than sending your details somewhere unsuitable.

Can FloodReady Florida quote me a flood insurance premium?

No. FloodReady Florida is not an insurance agency, agent, or broker, and is not licensed to transact insurance in Florida. We cannot quote premiums, compare policies or insurers, or tell you what coverage to buy. Only a licensed Florida agent can do those things, which is why we connect you with one instead.

How do I withdraw my consent to be contacted?

Three ways, any of which works on its own: reply STOP to any text message; tell the caller directly to stop contacting you; or use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information form. Consent is never a condition of buying anything, and you can also call a licensed professional directly instead of using this form at all.

What if I have water in my house right now?

Treat safety first: if water is near electrical outlets or the panel, or if the building may be structurally unsound, leave and call 911. Once you are safe, submit the form choosing the water damage option, or call the number listed on this page. Water damage requests are routed to a licensed Florida restoration contractor rather than an insurance agency.

Disclosure

FloodReady Florida is not an insurance agency, insurance agent, or broker, and is not licensed to transact insurance in Florida. We do not sell insurance, quote premiums, compare specific policies or insurers, or tell you which coverage to buy. Nothing on this page is an offer of insurance or a recommendation of any insurer, policy, contractor, or adjuster.

When you ask to be contacted, we pass your details to one independent, appropriately licensed third party — a licensed Florida insurance agency or a licensed Florida restoration contractor. We are paid a flat fee for each qualifying referral, and that fee is fixed and is not dependent on whether you buy anything. We receive no commission, override, or any payment contingent on a sale.

You can verify any insurance agent or agency through the Florida Department of Financial Services licensee search, and any contractor through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation at myfloridalicense.com. Official National Flood Insurance Program information is at floodsmart.gov.
